Hey, so, Capcom’s at it again. They promised more news about their games this month, and no doubt, we’re all itching for it. You remember the teases from Summer Game Fest, right? They dropped hints about Resident Evil: Requiem, brought Pragmata back from the dead, and shared tidbits about Street Fighter 6. Just tiny morsels though – almost like they wanted to keep us on edge for a bigger reveal.
So, Capcom Spotlight’s where it’s happening today. This one’s supposed to roll in all those snippets from earlier and dish out something more meaty – Monster Hunter Wild’s next update, for example. Title Update 2, they’re calling it. Supposedly dropping by the end of the month, so maybe they’ll give us a real date.
Street Fighter 6 fans, you’re in luck, I guess. They’re yakking about the Year 3 roster. Sagat’s coming summer, C. Viper hitting fall, and then there’s Alex and Ingrid in spring. Honestly, they might even pin down Sagat’s arrival during the show.
Now, Pragmata – oh geez, everyone thought it was toast. After delays, it was like, hello? Then bam, Capcom says, “Nah, here’s some gameplay, and yeah, 2026, mark it.” It was even hands-on at Summer Game Fest. Kinda wild, if you ask me. Expecting some demos to pop up tonight, maybe some chats with the devs too.
And Resident Evil Requiem? Total intrigue. Their drop at Summer Game Fest was like, blink and you missed it. Barely enough to piece together what’s going on. Journalists got some action watching the devs play. It’s the ninth in the series – yeah, kind of a big deal with all the vague language and everything. Should be a blast finding out more.
Anyway, Capcom Spotlight’s on for 40 minutes. Starts today at 3pm PT, 6pm ET, 11pm BST. Grab some popcorn, catch it live wherever – YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok. Pick your poison, as they say.
See ya there! Or not, you know, if you’re busy or whatever.
