Zenless Zone Zero Celebrates Its First Anniversary Yet Again with a New Story Chapter

Oh, man, where to start? So, Zenless Zone Zero. It’s been kinda like this whirlwind the past month, and it’s all about this game — you know, celebrate big time, hit that one-year mark, Xbox release and bam! A major 2.0 update out of nowhere. Crazy, right?

But, hold up — any fan’s gonna tell you we’re jumping the gun here because, technically, the real b-day party for this sci-fi RPG is July. Yeah, yeah, maybe they’re just warming us up with story arcs and juicy patches.

And today, July 4, boom — here we are, officially one year running! The devs, HoYoverse, are throwing another curveball with an update drop — well, not today exactly, it’s just the reveal. We gotta wait until July 16 for the goods. Why do they tease us so?

The big ol’ update is dubbed The Impending Crash of Waves, and it’s all about some fresh faction called Spook Shack mingling with aquatic vibes. New spots, too — Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort. I mean, a place named Fantasy Resort screams summer adventure, doesn’t it?

Now, Season 2 Chapter 2 is kicking off. Sailume Bay is the hotbed of action, and Fantasy Resort steps in for summer shenanigans. Got my beach shorts ready, just saying.

And lest we forget — new Agents! Ukinami Yuzuha — she’s an S-Rank Physical Support. Trust me, watching her tankui, Kama, chuck candy bombs is a spectacle. Plus, there’s Alice Thymefield, another S-Rank powerhouse, running circles around foes with her sword finesse. Her thing? Charging up something awesome called Blade Etiquette for more boom.

Roll out the update 2.1, and say hello to Miss Esme, a shiny new Bangboo, adding to the craziness. Oh, there’s re-runs of Void Hunter Miyabi and Yanagi. More the merrier, I say.
