It’s like, have you ever just dived into a game and been like, “Whoa, more characters? Sweet!” That’s kinda what’s happening with Disney Dreamlight Valley. This new Storybook Vale Expansion Pass – honestly, just hearing about it gets me all, “Wait, who’s coming next?” They tossed in Merida. Brave’s fiery lass, then there’s Flynn from Tangled, doing his smolder thing. Oh, and Hades – you know, the blue-flame-haired dude from Hercules. So, that’s huge, right? And then, bam! They say Maleficent’s joining the crew too. Big magical hat optional.
People immediately went nuts speculating about who’s next. I’m sitting here wondering if they have a giant spinning wheel of Disney characters in some secret office somewhere. Like, “Let’s spin it! Oh, Maleficent, nice.” The thing is, Disney likes to keep heroes and villains apart, for some reason. Jafar’s out with the bad guys in one DLC, while the heroes from those same stories are in others. Weird, right? But then there was this tease about a princess. Couldn’t be another villain, right? And then, boom! Sleeping Beauty herself, Aurora, confirmed. It’s like, yeah, Maleficent needs someone to cast spells at.
And speaking of princesses, Cinderella’s still not made the cut. She’s been on the waiting list since the first game trailers. Like, if she needs a royal invitation or something… Now, personally, I think it’s all about timing. But still, feels like one of those “Hey, remember we talked about this?” situations. Maybe they’re saving her pumpkin carriage for something big. Who even knows? Her coming to the game would also roll us back to some vintage Disney vibes. Old-school charm? I’m so there for it.
Cinderella missing is almost like Ralph. From Wreck-It-Ralph, not your uncle Ralph. He was teased early on too and still nada. Poor guy. I mean, Vanellope’s already hanging out with the crew. So it’s like, where are you, big guy? Seriously, let’s get some balance here, people!
But hey, word is, Cinderella’s on her way. Like, fairy godmother wand-waving and all. Saw this roadmap for game updates and, lo and behold, a blue carriage and pumpkins. Which screams Cinderella’s finally gonna crash the party. Maybe there’s hope yet for closing those unfinished chapters. And while we wait, guess we just enjoy the madness of new characters mixing things up. Ah, Disney Dreamlight, always something up their sleeves. Or wands. Whatever.
