Sure thing, here’s a more human-like rewrite:

So, there’s this early version of what might be Lenovo’s next big thing, the Legion Go 2, popping up in China. I found out through some fellow on Reddit, going by the name of Worth_Spot. Apparently, after Lenovo shut down their plant where these little gaming beasts were born, they started offloading some of these developer units on Chinese second-hand sites. Kinda like finding treasure at a yard sale, if you ask me.
Now, there’s this really deep-dive YouTube video — originally from BiliBili, by the way — that shows off the pre-production unit of the Legion Go 2. The fella in the video shows off its design, and it’s not straying too far from the first model. Got those detachable controllers and boasts this chunky 8.8-inch screen. They say it’s an OLED panel, courtesy of Samsung, and it’s all about HDR content. Though I gotta say, even with the fancy HDR and all, the resolution’s a step down at 1920 x 1200. But hey, 144 Hz refresh rate with VRR — whatever magic that does to gameplay — sounds like it wouldn’t hurt.
Speaking of specs, it’s supposedly packing an AMD Ryzen Z2 processor, which seems all Zen 4 architectural goodness, with an 8-core/16-thread layout. Plus, it’s backed by this 12-core Radeon 780M GPU rocking the RDNA 3 thing. Back during CES, Lenovo showed off their Legion Go S handhelds and hinted the Go 2 would get even beefier with a Ryzen Z2 Extreme, so, fingers crossed.
And then — here’s a kicker — the video’s claiming it’s got a whopping 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD and 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, juiced up at 7500 MHz, with a 74Wh battery. Other perks? It’s supposed to come with Wi-Fi 6E and Windows 11, prepped with some gaming software goodies. It even has a kickstand. I know, it’s like they threw in a bag of chips with the whole deal. Oh, and those controllers can be used like a mouse. I think they’re aiming to launch it by September at around a grand. Sounds hefty, right?
And sure, Lenovo’s got the Legion Go S on shelves right now, which comes with the older-gen stuff. But, if the Legion Go 2 wants to compete, it’s gotta bring its A-game, especially since Asus is cozying up to Microsoft with their ROG Xbox Ally stuff. Man, it must be tough — like trying to be the coolest kid in school when there’s already a popular group.
