Sure thing, here it is:

So here we are—finally. Resident Evil 9, or should I say, Resident Evil Requiem, is creeping up on us. I swear, it felt like we were all just chasing shadows for months. Every insider and their grandma kept whispering we’d catch a glimpse at the next show, the next event… and nope. Nada. Until today, that is.
Anyway, today’s Summer Game Fest kick-off was the stage, and Capcom decided to drop the mic on us. You know how they like to tease. Jun Takeuchi pops up on the screen, gives a sort of thank you spiel to the fans—much love to the Resi crew, of course—and says, “More soon.” So everyone’s like, cool, guess we wait some more. Surprise, surprise though, they hooked us right at the end.
So, what’s the deal? A chilling, quick peek at the new game, and it’s got this name—Resident Evil Requiem. The vibe? Think more Biohazard-level creepiness. I’m talking serious goosebumps. February 27, 2026, by the way—that’s when you’ll get to dive in.
Oh! And you know what? Capcom’s been sneakier than I thought. All those “Yay, 10 million copies of RE4!” videos? Yeah, they sprinkled hints in there about the new game. Did I see it? Nope, totally missed it. Classic.
Now they’re saying Resident Evil 9 will be this huge jump for the series. But how big, really? Some reports went overboard, as usual. It’s a waiting game, I guess. We know so little, and those leaks? Could be on point, could be way off. But hey, Capcom’s been on this horror-action rollercoaster forever, so it’s bound to hit home.
And obviously, we’re not getting the whole story just yet. There’s more info to come as we inch closer to next year’s launch. Look forward to it on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S—all the usual suspects.
Who knows what’s next?
