Man, I stumbled onto this tech event KLEVV put on — wasn’t even sure what to expect. Right off the bat, their new DDR5 stuff grabbed me. Those memory modules? Pretty slick. And oh, here comes the fancy words, but stick with me. They’ve got these new modules, DDR5 CUDIMM and UDIMM, plus SSDs (whatever those are) for the techies building PCs.
Anyway, they started with something called KLEVV Genuine V RGB – sounds like a spaceship, right? They’ve cranked these things to 10,600 MT/s speeds. Umm, what does that mean? Beats me, but it sounds fast. Oh, and they used an AMD Ryzen 5 8600G on an ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E APEX mobo. Yeah, try saying that five times fast… Timings? CL62-62-62-126-188. Numbers can be fancy too, I guess?
Then they rolled out these Urbane V SOLID DDR5 DIMMs, tuned for us gamers or those speed-freaks overclocking everything. Each unit holds a whopping 64 gigs. That’s like endless tabs of cat videos… and runs at DDR5-6400 speeds. CL32-44-44-102-146 if you’re keeping score.
Now, on the CRAS V RGB bit – I remember this ‘cause CRAS sounds dramatic, right? Super low-latency CL26 DIMMs they said. And these things run at 6000 MT/s with timings of CL26-36-36-76-112, requiring 1.4V. Must be good or something.
Switching gears to Intel – kind of. KLEVV’s showing off the CRAS V RGB again, but with some CKD CUDIMM memory this time, running at 9600 MT/s at timings like CL48-60-60-80-942. These are 24 GB things at 1.4V. Specs, specs, specs.
Oh, yeah, remember when they showed those LPCAMM2 modules last year? They’re back. Full steam at 7500 MT/s to 8533 MT/s, up to 32 GB worth, rocking shiny black heat spreaders — on a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen7, no less. Felt like a nerd heaven for a sec.
And if you’re still interested — they tossed in new black-coated DDR5 UDIMMs they’re dropping in retail soon. Plus, new Gen5 SSDs under the revamped “G” series. Faster than its older siblings, Gen4. But what do I know?
Apparently, these techy treasures are aiming for the gaming crowd and those enthusiasts who know what half of this means. Stay tuned, as they say, for more deets like prices and when you can actually get your hands on these gadgets — whenever they let us know.
