### Understanding Team-Ups in Marvel Rivals
Season 2 boasts a collection of 18 Team-Up abilities, all available to a wide roster of 38 heroes, alongside two Team-Ups that are temporarily unavailable but may make a comeback in future Seasons.
Each Team-Up offers its own unique mechanics. The core idea is simple: pair up the right heroes and unlock some mighty bonuses. While picking heroes, you’ll notice who they can team with right at the center of your screen during character selection.
Some Team-Up bonuses are passive, like Hela’s Ragnarok Rebirth, which can revive Thor or Loki during combat as long as they’re on her team. Others, such as Rocket Raccoon’s Ammo Overload, provide an active ability benefiting heroes, either to the primary hero initiating the Team-Up or to the secondary characters receiving the advantage.
Not all Team-Ups are created equal. In certain cases, like with Lunar Force, one hero might not get any direct advantage from their partner’s presence. For instance, Moon Knight benefits from Cloak & Dagger being on the team as it allows him to occasionally turn invisible, a tremendous tactical edge, although the reverse doesn’t hold true.
Using Team-Ups isn’t essential to win, but they can significantly amplify your prowess in the game. Whenever the opportunity presents itself, leaning into these combinations can be hugely beneficial.
