Alright, so picture this: you’re sitting there scrolling through updates for Marvel Rivals, and what do we find? Oh, just Captain America donning this wild symbiote suit called Captain Klyntar. Yeah, that’s a thing now. Coming out on July 3 at 7 PM PDT sharp. Why they chose that exact time, I have absolutely no idea. Maybe someone just thought it sounded cool. Or maybe it’s a cosmic alignment thing? Who knows.
Marvel Rivals is also rolling out Season 3 on July 11—mark your calendars. There’s gonna be two new heroes. Who are they? Beats me right now, but hey, surprises are fun, right? Plus, there’s gonna be a new map. Sounds exciting, if you’re into virtual geography.
Captain America, aside from wearing a suit that looks like a black, slippery, alien goo (nice touch, Steve Rogers), is apparently a top-tier Vanguard in the game. Vanguards, in case you missed the memo, are those brave souls—or digital heroes—who take hits for their team. Very altruistic of them. Anyway, our dear Cap has this uncanny ability to show up exactly when needed. Like your annoying sibling who always walks in at the wrong moment. Or the right moment? Depends on your perspective.
Oh, and this symbiote suit is straight outta Edge of Venomverse comics. Got a weird charm to it. The shield’s pitch black too—matches the outfit, very chic.
In the midst of all this, Spidey’s swinging in with his Future Foundation threads. They’re releasing this same day as Cap’s new look. Get this: it’s white and black, with bits of blue and spider-webby accents. And hold on, there’s a catch—you can flip the colors with an emote. Emotes are apparently the thing now, because why not? No clue on the price though. You’ll have to find that out yourself.
And Spider-Man isn’t alone. Nope, there’s a whole Future Foundation crew. Human Torch, The Thing, Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman—all in on the action. Mister Fantastic, now that’s a name. You might get some skins for free with special events. Or, have some cash ready for the shop. Nothing’s really free in the gaming world, is it?
