You know the G, right?
Okay, so, here’s the deal. It’s an all-email kinda day because, honestly, we have this mountain of stuff we need to catch up on. James is, like, totally MIA this week. I mean, it’s supposed to mean that things are gonna be all uptight and fancy with Jon running the show. Dignity and professionalism, they say. But really, it’s just focused chit-chat that only Jon seems to pull off.
First off, we take a little trip back to Jon’s crazy GameStop saga. Seriously, it was something else. Anyway, we dive into this weird world of Pro Memberships — honestly, a rabbit hole of confusion if you ask me. Then we sort of ramble on about older games that’d be perfect for the, um, Switch 2? If that’s ever gonna be a thing.
Then we kinda drift, talking about surviving the brutality that F-Zero GX throws at you. I mean, are they really going to drop fresh games on those virtual consoles? This whole Princess Peach talk goes in all sorts of directions too. Just imagine a modern twist on her games — it’s a mess, but an exciting one, if that makes any sense.
Oh, and by the way, “Git Gud” should really be, um, “Git Gui’d”? Learn those tracks, noob!
Guillaume Veillette, hats off to you for editing this chaos. Perry Burkum, you legend, that “Men of Leisure” theme is pure magic — catch more of that goodness on his SoundCloud. And Connor Strickland did the awesome logo thing — go see his stuff, it’s worth it.
End music, a bit of a nod to “Birdman” from Pilotwings 64, was Greg’s genius pick. All hail Nintendo, and their epic rights, I suppose.
