Okay, so get this — I was at Cryorig the other day, and something happened. They dropped a bunch of stuff. Like, brand new cooling gadgets. Yeah, including this beast they call the Gladius Astral Dual-Tower cooler. Pretty neat name, right? And honestly, there’s more. AIOs, some copper thingies, and this fanless PC case. Cool stuff, right? Or maybe not… I don’t know, depends on what you’re into.
Now, last year — no joke — I heard these whispers in the corridors at Cryorig. People were saying, “We’re coming back, for real.” The vibe was kinda electric. You know that feeling when you just know something big is brewing? It’s like my sixth sense was tingling. Anyway, they used to rule the cooling world with things like their R1 and R1 Ultimate heatsinks. Flash forward to now, and bang! They’re rolling out the Gladius Astral. Sounds intense, right?
Let’s talk about this flagship thingy first. It’s like a dual-tower air cooler, ready to tackle up to 280W. How? With ten heatpipes — size matters here, 6mm each. Fans spin like crazy, reaching 2500 RPM. There’s a digital display on top, Smart Control, whatever that means, and ARGB LEDs for all the flashy flash. It’s a size that will surprise you, 120x133x164mm.
Oh, wait, did I mention this other thing? The C5 series — cute little Mini-ITX setups. One’s got a nickel-plated vapor chamber base (very tech-sounding, huh?) and a fan with ARGB lights. Measures, uh, 96.8 x 96.8 x 55.7mm and cools up to 165W. The copper one’s fancy too, with a white fan — classy! Full-copper heatsink, and it cools a bit more, up to 180W. Both are ready to hit it off with AMD Ryzen CPUs.
Switching tracks, they’ve got this new AIO gig, the Cryo360. These ones come with fans, and — oh, just a minor 280W cooling edge (said no one ever). The pump is like a techy eye candy with its integrated high-res LCD — keeps you up to date on temps and stuff.
Also on show was the CR6S, another one of those dual-tower deals. Six heatpipes and fans with all the lights, cooling up to 250W. The CR6S Plus wears black (for those who like their gadgets chic) with copper bases and nickel finishes. Talk about “fancy schmancy.” And then there’s the CR4S series, single-tower style with four heatpipes and up to 200W cooling capacity.
I know I was supposed to be talking about CPU coolers, but listen — there’s this thing called the Lull PC case. It’s a finless wonder, with a heatsink panel of curved glass. Sounds artsy, right? And it cools quietly but really well. You could probably feel the cool from where you’re sitting. It’s like 443x277x436mm — I saw it with my own eyes. Oh, and there’s a display on it, for kicks.
You’ll probably see these bad boys on store shelves soon. Cryorig’s aiming for some competitive pricing too. Maybe they’ll sell like hotcakes. Maybe they won’t. Who knows?
