They’ve released a statement emphasizing their commitment to fair play and cautioning against the use of hacks or external aids, which could lead to suspended accounts or restriction from rewards.
They also noted, “If cheating is found in a multiplayer hunt by any team member, the quest’s completion time becomes void, and eligibility for rewards may be revoked for the entire group. Players are urged to avoid teaming up with anyone suspected of foul play.”
While the threat of strict penalties might deter some would-be cheaters, it’ll be interesting to see how this shakes out once Arena Quests are live. Hopefully, we won’t see leaderboards constantly being shuffled due to the removal of false times, but instead, new and incredible runs that push the limits.
