Oh, man. Where do I even start? So, I stumbled across this report, right? And, you know, it’s kinda wild. It was all about this Black Panther game that was gonna mess around with the Nemesis System—yeah, the one from those Middle-earth games. Cliffhanger, some gang of ex-Monolith folks, were behind it, trying to cook up something fresh. But, enough about that, let’s dive into the juicy bits.
The Nemesis System, if you think about it, was like, whoa, because suddenly your enemies had more personality than some people I know. Imagine this: they run away like they owe you money only to bounce back, stronger and more annoying. And when they actually beat Talion—our hero-dude—they’d just be as confused when he popped up again like, “Didn’t I just smack you down?”
But, here’s the kicker. This new Black Panther spin was gonna let you play as different characters. T’Challa, yep. But also his kickass sis Shuri and, of course, everyone’s fave—Killmonger. And they were setting up this whole thing against the Skrulls. Sneaky shape-shifting aliens. Like, what a twist, right?
I mean, just picture it. Your best buddy suddenly turning on you because, big surprise, they’re a Skrull. Mind blown. That whole Nemesis System would’ve been twisted on its head. I’m already picking who’s gonna betray me. Fallout? Reality TV levels of drama, calling it now.
But, EA, oh boy. Classic. Instead of letting this masterpiece blossom, we’re left with nothing but echoes and some out-of-work devs. Seriously, hope they land somewhere cool because that’s some raw talent in limbo. Just, wow.
