So, you’re fighting these enemies on each floor — like, they just appear outta nowhere. I remember thinking, “Whoooa, didn’t see you there!” Anyway, you gotta avoid traps too, which feels kind of like when you’re dodging holes in your socks, but way more intense. Oh, and there’s this military AI helping you, or so it claims. Trust issues much?
Moving around is your standard game stuff — analog sticks and all that jazz. But then there’s Mirage Shift, which sounds like something a magician would do, letting you dodge attacks. It’s like playing hopscotch but you’re invincible for a sec. I don’t know why, but the idea of invincibility just gets me every time.
You grab items from these Micro Armory boxes. Honestly, breaking stuff to find goodies never gets old. New weapons, healing items, yada yada. Oh, and there’s some Exo Force thing? You charge it up, you get all boosted and powerful. But if you get hit, boom — it’s gone! Not unlike my motivation to hit the gym.
When you earn some Elm (sounds like a type of tree to me), you can trade it at the shop node for Exo Skills. Fancy, right? But beware, dying means losing most of your stuff — gotta love a challenge, though. Key items and skills stick with you, so it’s not all gloom and doom.
Trophy hunters, this one’s got a full list for you. Bronze, Silver, Gold – you know the drill. The first trophy’s a gimme after the opening scene, so that’s nice. Defeating bosses, dodging with style, collecting massive Elm amounts — typical achievements but always satisfying.
