Alright, here we go.

So, you know Jackbox Games, right? They just spilled the beans on this new thing called Doominate — which is like the second of the games in their Jackbox Party Pack 11. And obviously, it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch. Because why not?
Now, Doominate’s supposed to be this wild version of those joke-writing games. Like you basically ruin what someone else wrote and call it comedy. Sounds kinda mean, but hey, it’s all in good fun, I guess? You’re adding twists to other people’s stuff — like, imagine you say “banana” and then someone else turns it into “exploding banana.” Or maybe, I just now thought of that.
Anyway — wait, I’m getting ahead of myself — the point is, you clash these jokes against each other, and everyone else decides on which is the funniest or most ridiculous. Or devastating? Oh boy.
And here’s the twist — at the end, everyone gets to do a last-minute fix-up. Like, trying to put a bandaid on the chaos, just to see if maybe there’s still a nugget of sweetness left. Crazy, huh?
So, Brooke Breit, the game director, she’s like, “Doominate is perfect for when you’re hanging with your peeps or even strangers.” Because honestly, breaking stuff together is kinda bonding, right? You’re either referencing inside jokes, or realizing that, wow, you’ve got some hilarious (or weird) friends.
Look out for Jackbox Party Pack 11 when it drops on the Nintendo eShop in Fall 2025. It’ll empty your wallet by £24.99 ($29.99), but eh, could totally be worth it.
Keep your eyes peeled for the trailer too! Or don’t. Up to you.
