New Update Released for Warzone: May 2025

Man, so let’s just dive into this update for Call of Duty: Warzone on May 13. First off, they decided to stretch out the High Art event until May 22. Yep, you heard me right! More time for us to snag those quirky rewards. Why? Who knows. Maybe they felt generous or just needed us occupied with something shiny.

Now, about these darn bug fixes. You know how insane it was — imagine aiming down sights and your character moves like they’re tiptoeing through mud. The update finally patched that glitch, thank goodness. But hey, isn’t it always something with these games? You fix one thing, and two new bugs show up to the party.

So, flashback to May 1 with the Season 3 Reloaded thing. They threw in some cool stuff like the Verdansk Train Station opening. Imagine the chaos! Anyway, what was I saying? Oh right, the event now ends on May 22. Which is a good thing since I totally forgot about it last week. Rewards include weapons like the Ladra Submachine Gun and some Goblin missile thing. And if you miss them during the event, you can still find them in the Armory later. So no pressure, right?

Another gem from the update — emotes got restrictions in Ranked Play. Somebody figured out they could exploit them, surprise surprise. That caused a mini-uproar until the fix came around.

Oh, and if you’ve ever been frustrated because your revive took forever, they fixed that too. Plus, some menu issue around Prestige was sorted out, thank goodness. I mean, who cares about Prestige these days but still, right? Operator voice-overs? Yeah, they’re supposed to cool down but weren’t. That’s fixed too.
