Okay, so here’s a thought. Jack Black — he’s like, everywhere? Like, really, you can’t turn around without bumping into him in some game or movie these days. The Mario movie, the Minecraft movie, and don’t even get me started on the Borderlands flick. And just when you think you’re free, boom, he’s popping up again, like an uninvited guest who keeps the party alive — double trouble in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake. Yeah, he’s doing his thing as Officer Dick, plus he’s got this alter ego, Constable Richard, hanging around in the London level. Totally bonkers.
So, picture this — little Dick, whose actual name is Richard Ennvee (no idea who decided to call him Dick), was apparently picked on by skaters for being a “poser.” I mean, sounds rough, right? So, he decides to become exactly what those skaters hated most. Sweet revenge, you think? Maybe. Anyway, Dick transforms into this law-enforcing legend! And then there’s Constable Richard over here, just as nuts and tough, doing his thing.
Now, you might not even recall Officer Dick unless you’re a long-time fan. He used to be this mysterious character you could unlock way back — way, way back — in the original franchise, vanished for a bit, and then popped up again. Like, he was there in Tony Hawk’s Project 8, and then, surprise surprise, he shows up in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD before finding his feet in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 as the man himself, Jack Black. Wild, right?
Oh, and sidebar — Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 drops on July 11. So you’ve got, like, all your platforms covered: Nintendo Switch (and hey, they’re already talking Switch 2), PlayStation 4 and 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Series X. Seriously, if you can’t find a way to play it, what are you even doing?
